Open House: August 20, 2025 – 6:30 PM Where: Farr West City Offices Project: “Farr West Landing” – massive high-density housing and retail east of I-15 at 2700 North, right behind the Maverick Gas Station next to the freeway on-ramp.
The 2700 North freeway ramps are already bursting at the seams. UDOT admits there is no funding and no plan to expand or fix this interchange. Farr West City wants to cram in a mega-development that will dump thousands more cars onto roads that are already choking. If this project goes through, I-15 gridlock will get worse beyond measure. The daily jam on 2600/2700 North will spread like wildfire. Pleasant View, North Ogden, Farr West and Plain City residents will all be trapped in the mess. For decades, Farr West promised low-density farmland. In the past five years, they ripped up their own plan, rezoned everything, and opened the floodgates. Enough is enough. This is our line in the sand. Residents of Pleasant View, North Ogden, Farr West, and Plain City must pack the Farr West City Offices on August 20th at 6:30 PM. Show city leaders that we will not sit back while one city’s greed wrecks the safety, mobility, and character of all four communities. Show up and SAY NO!!
